in 1881 Outlaw William H. Bonney Junior, alias "Billy the Kid," was shot and killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett in Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Supposedly, some people think that he didn't really die.
1910: Animator William Hanna born. I loved watching his cartoons when I was little! My favorite was Scooby Doo!
