My favorite: The Lady Eve. She plays the daughter of a riverboat gambler and con man.
Christmas in Connecticut. She is a woman famous for her home making articles, only problem is, she doesn't have a home, just an apartment, and no family.
The Two Mrs. Carrolls. She meets and falls in love with a man whose wife is very ill. The wife dies and Barbra marries him, only to find out that there is much more going on than she realizes.
