This list is much shorter than the AFI top 100 lists, so hopefully, if anyone is reading this, you won't get bored. :-}
1 SINGIN' IN THE RAIN, yes, I love Singin' in the rain, but not for its plot of course, I love the music. Gene Kelly is wonderful and Debbie Reynolds is so cute.
2 WEST SIDE STORY, of course. I only watch the first half though, I don't like it once people start dying. I had all of the songs memorized at one time.
3 WIZARD OF OZ, of course. Not my favorite, though its alright. Judy Garland fascinated me, as most of the actresses who died young do.
4 SOUND OF MUSIC, I have this on DVD. I wanted to be a nun for a while, if only I was catholic. But now I'm married, so I'm glad I wasn't a nun.
5 CABARET, this is one of my favorites. I love Liza and Joel Gray, he is so creepy in this movie.
6 MARY POPPINS, yes. I am told that i watched this quite a lot when I was little.
7 STAR IS BORN, I'm not sure if I've seen this entire movie. I know that I've seen parts.
8 MY FAIR LADY, I love my fair lady. Just you wait, enry iggins, just you wait....
9 AMERICAN IN PARIS, yes, though not my favorite. Sadly, I get bored with the extended dance scene.
10 MEET ME IN ST. LOUIS. This is one of my favorites. I love when Judy Garland sings about the boy next door.
11 KING AND I, yes. It is a very sad movie.
12 CHICAGO, yes but bleck. The characters have no redeeming qualities! I felt so bad for John C. Reilly. Poor guy. When I saw the movie, I had heard that the dancing was so spectacular, but I was disappointed since I grew up on Musicals. The dancing was fine, but not really impressive.
13 42ND STREET, Actually, no.
14 ALL THAT JAZZ, not yet.
15 TOP HAT, of course.
16 FUNNY GIRL, another of my favorites, Barbra Streisand has such a marvelous voice. Sadie, Sadie, married lady..
17 BAND WAGON, I don't think so.
18 YANKEE DOODLE DANDY, yes. So odd to see James Cagney singing and dancing.
19 ON THE TOWN, I love their tour of New York! So cute. And I love Ann Miller, she was just wonderful.
20 GREASE, of course. I don't like the ending though, he should have been nicer, not her naughtier!
21 SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS, I love the scene where she teaches them to dance.
22 BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, Very good movie.
23 GUYS AND DOLLS, yep
24 SHOW BOAT, oh, its so sad! Its kind of a depressing movie.
25 MOULIN ROUGE! I love Moulin Rouge! Ewan McGregor has the best voice.

I looooove musicals!! I actually really don't like Cabaret the movie - the whole gay subplot thing they added is weird and you're right about creepy Joel Grey. But I love the music. Chicago is another one that's better on stage. My Fair Lady is my all-time fave. Instead of listening to the radio like a normal youngster, I spent my youth listening to my mom's show tune records.
