Film 37 of 60: Earthsea

A very fun light magical fantasy film about one wizards quest to control the evil within and outside of him. Starring a great cast including Shawn Ashmore of X-men fame (Iceman), Kristin Kreuk from Smallville and Chris Gauthier from a few episodes of Supernatural (one of my favorite shows), Eureka and most recently, Harper's Island, which I meant to watch but haven't gotten around to watching yet. Just make sure you don't read the books before you watch this, or decide before hand that you will not compare it to the books.
