Michael Crichton has been one of my favorite author's for many years. I was very saddened to hear that he has died.
Lost World was the first book I bought in hard back, brand new, from an actual bookstore. I was in high school and was at the mall with either a choir or church group when I saw it and had to buy it.
I have greatly enjoyed his books and will miss them.
