God bless surveys!

Things have been seeming a little tight lately (tight when the American economy is in such wonderful shape? No kidding) but in the last few weeks I've gotten $48 in survey money! I'm very excited.
3 from pinecone, 20 from Lightspeed and 25 from American Consumer Opinion.
I love that I do surveys, but don't keep track of how much I should be getting, that way it is a surprise and I'm not disappointed when something doesn't show up.
I think that I will either use it to go out to lunch while Josh and I are away for his big test, or put it in savings...probably lunch. Or even 2 lunches.

Book of Lies by Brad Meltzer

I heard a radio interview on NPR featuring Book of Lies by Brad Meltzer and was immediately interested. Cain (of Cain and Abel) correlating to Super Man and Jerry Siegel? Throw in some World War II references and I'm hooked.
I really enjoyed, Book of Lies, and read it over the weekend, something I rarely do. it was fast paced and mostly interesting. I love religious treasure hunts that tie back to World War II (who doesn't :-} ) and that is exactly what it is.
It kept me guessing and intrigued up to the last few chapters.

Recommended for fans of the Steve Berry, Daughter of God and the Da Vinci Code.

Okay, so its not for another week, but I just got myself a very cool birthday present, thanks to Hot Topic's lovely $10 off coupon in honor of my birthday. It was 11.70 all together, but its worth it.

Macaroni Grill

Josh, mom and I tried the previously mentioned Romano's Macaroni Grill, Creamy Basil dinner. I substituted ground turkey for Chicken (since we usually eat ground turkey) and all loved it. We even had left overs until Josh got seconds!
It was yummy and slightly indulgent, we decided it was better than a hamburger helper mix; it felt more deluxe, maybe because it came with 4 separate packets!
